SafeKeeperPLUS.com automates some of the communication between Iron Mountain and the end user. Reports may be e-mailed to a user, confirmation messages may be sent to indicate successful processing, or messages from Systems Support may be delivered. To help SafeKeeperPLUS.com provide the fastest, most accurate service available, the contact information for each new user should be specified as completely as possible. This contact information is for internal use only by Iron Mountain and will not be distributed to any outside organizations.
When creating a new user, you, the administrator, must first specify a unique User ID along with user name and contact information. If the chosen User ID already exists, even in an account to which you do not have access, you will receive an error message instructing you to enter a different User ID. Iron Mountain strongly urges you to double check your typing in the User ID field before saving the user profile. After the user has been defined, the User ID cannot be edited, but all other information may be updated as needed.
Whether creating or modifying a user profile, you will need to determine a user's account status. If the user should be able to access SafeKeeperPLUS.com, you will need to make sure that the Active checkbox is marked with a check. If the user should be able to create or modify other user profiles and you have administrative rights, you will need to make sure that the Administrator checkbox is marked with a check.
If you are creating a new user profile, enter the contact information as completely as possible in the provided fields. Then, click the Create button to create the user, save the profile information and proceed to the User Security screen.
If you are modifying an existing user profile, update the contact information as necessary and click the Update button to save the profile and refresh the screen.
To continue defining or modifying a user, click on either User Security or User Access. If no security or access levels are defined, the user will not be able to access SafeKeeperPLUS.com even though a User ID has been assigned.
If you wish to modify the settings for a different user, you may click Click Here to return to User Maintenance to return to the User Maintenance screen.
Note: No changes to the user profile will be saved unless you choose either to create or to update the profile.
